9:00 - 12:55

1st Saturday of each month

I want to inspire kids & teens to learn the skill of sewing, build confidence in creativity, and embrace the art of it.

  • The Fashion Design Program is 9 months, meeting two hours, twice a month, September through May.
  • I've successfully taught this program the past 5 years.
  • I teach girls from 4th to 12th grade.
  • All students must be able to learn & interact well in a group environment, follow directions, and read well.
  • Each student is provided an individual sewing station, which includes a sewing machine and tools.
  • We finish our 9 month program in May with a Fashion Show for all family & friends to attend.
  • Classes meet in The Stitch School Studio in Cordova, Tennessee.
  • The tuition is $65/month for the 9 month program.

The Stitch School Studio is conveniently located off Houston Levee Rd in Cordova, Tennessee.  My studio is at my home location, in a cute little red brick house adjacent to my home. It's the perfect little place.  It's my happy place.  I've got 4 complete sewing stations and 2 large cutting tables; more than enough to  keep my students busy learning and creating.

All beginning students will go through the Kids Can Sew "YEAR ONE" student workbook and complete 8-10 projects as well as various holiday-themed crafts.
