I am a Registered Instructor for the Kids Can Sew® & Fashion Design Inc. sewing program. Kids Can Sew® & Fashion Design Inc. is the original program for teaching kids to sew and is recognized as the #1 sewing program for kids. This curriculum takes students through the basics of sewing and clothing construction including, learning how to operate a sewing machine, use various tools and equipment, using a pattern, and following pattern guidelines. The Kids Can Sew program has 4 years/levels of sewing classes that can take a student from basic sewing knowledge to the skills required to complete commercial sewing patterns and advanced sewing projects. The program has taught over 1 million children worldwide in the course of 30 years.

YEAR TWO PROJECTS

The Fashion Design Program is 8 months, meeting two hours, twice a month, September through April.
I've successfully taught this program the past 8 years.
I teach girls from 4th to 12th grade.
All students must be able to learn & interact well in a group environment, follow directions, and read well.
Each student is provided an individual sewing station, which includes a sewing machine and tools.
We finish our 8 month program in May with a Fashion Show for all family & friends to attend.
Classes meet in The Stitch School Studio in Cordova, Tennessee.
The tuition is $80/month for the 8 month program.
